Admissions are processed online through the enrollment portal in seven steps. Start by selecting the candidate segment in the upper left of the enrollment page. Click the enrollment button and enter the guardian's details and the course option (Step 01: Basic Data). Complete the information for the candidate and guardians, plus financial and academic details. To view fields, click the icon. Proceed to Step 02: Guardians, then Step 03: Course Data, where you indicate your area of interest and create a password. In Step 04: Confirmation of Enrollment Data, review the data and make changes if needed. When all data are correct, finalize the enrollment. Step 05: Enrollment Created; the enrollment information is sent to the registered email, and you can view status in the Candidate Portal. You may enroll another child or print the enrollment receipt. After admission, online enrollment is possible by clicking Matrícula; an electronic contract signing uses a security token sent to the responsible email; after signing, the enrollment is complete.
Scholarships are offered through two programs: Early Years (Education Infantil and Anos Iniciais) and Upper Grades/High School (Anos Finais and Ensino Médio). Early Years: open to Group 5 of Educação Infantil through 5th grade in 2023; public-school entrants may receive 100% scholarships; private-school entrants may receive 75%, 45%, or 25% based on academic performance and family socio-economic analysis; for each Social Scholarship, a private-school scholarship is provided. Applications are online via topstudent; registration was July 4–14, 2023. Evaluations include on-site school observation, analysis of the school report, and a guardian interview; all steps are eliminatory. Results are emailed within five business days; winners must submit required enrollment documents; the prize is personal and non-transferable; renewal depends on maintaining academic performance and complying with internal rules. Upper Grades/High School: open to students from sixth year to second year of high school in 2023; 100% scholarships for public entrants; 75%, 45%, or 25% scholarships for private entrants; for each Social Scholarship, one private-school scholarship is awarded. Evaluations include report analysis, English, Portuguese, and Mathematics tests, plus an interview; the evaluation occurred on July 18 at the Escola Cidade Jardim | PlayPen. PlayPen Escola Cidade Jardim in Brazil is an independent bilingual school within the Cognita network, the first Cognita school in Latin America. It offers English-immersion from Early Years and bilingual literacy in English and Portuguese within the IB framework, with Spanish taught as a foreign language. The school serves ages 1 to 16, from Early Years through secondary, delivering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) while pursuing authorization to offer the Middle Years Programme (MYP) as a candidate. The PYP emphasises inquiry-based learning and global perspectives, integrated with social and cultural development. The campus, designed by Isay Weinfeld and Márcio Kogan, connects indoor and outdoor spaces and features ramps for accessibility. Facilities include extensive library, outdoor and rooftop sports areas, and spaces for labs and after-school activities. With about 130 staff, the school offers after-school clubs in languages, robotics, arts, and sports, plus international experiences and Cognita Be Well day.
