Health and wellbeing are a priority for every student, with high levels of personal care and attention from teachers and staff who focus on each student's strengths, needs, and development to help them participate and benefit from the learning environment. A Positive and Supportive School Environment is fostered through learning support that monitors progress and helps fill gaps with additional support channels. From Grade 4, Advisory Classes provide a safe space to discuss contemporary themes that matter to students' lives, including peer pressure, organizational skills, health and exercise, conflict resolution, problem-solving, time management, and exam preparation techniques; in higher grades, Advising Classes cover health and wellbeing, IT safety, cultural understanding, interview skills, and career and university counseling. The Academic Department of the SABIS Student Life Organization (SLO) delivers peer tutoring, power study sessions, academic competitions, and on-demand tutoring videos to support learning. Health & Wellness is supported by resident nurses who manage medical care during the day, address injuries and acute illness, assist with long-term health needs, promote health and safety on campus, and respond to health-related questions and emergencies.
