SIS Brasília supplements its strong academic program with a broad range of activities outside the classroom to enrich learning during the school day. The SIS Cup and the annual Intercountry Activity promote international exchange and shared experiences across SIS schools, focusing on sports, fairness and teamwork. Intercountry activities have included international math days, a gift exchange, a storytelling exchange, a photo campaign and an IT activity using Ozobots. The SIS Best Essay Award recognises the three best written theses produced by SIS graduates as part of the final examinations for university entrance qualifications or the International Baccalaureate diploma.
After-School Activities focus on developing logical thinking, creative thinking, interpersonal relationships, planning, sports, artistic and socio-emotional skills. The activities are offered in a relaxed and engaging environment and are tailored to students' age and interests. Each activity is developed and supervised by qualified educators, and some are conducted in partnership with specialized institutions.
