SIS Brasília is part of the SIS Swiss International School Group, which provides bilingual and international education from kindergarten through college. Since 1999 the group has evolved from pioneers to experts in bilingual education. Expansion to Brazil included the opening of SIS Brasília and the integration of Escola Suíço-Brasileira Rio de Janeiro into SIS. The group's milestones include the first bilingual school in Brazil, and, as of January 1, 2025, the SIS Swiss International Schools Group was integrated into the Klett Group as part of a corporate restructuring.
SIS Brasília offers a lively, multicultural day-school community with two languages in one place. The curriculum is supplemented by a variety of activities beyond the classroom, including lunchtime and homework supervision, intercountry activities and signature school events, as well as after-school options. The SIS Community highlights the pedagogical integration, the SIS Cup sports events, and national and international cultural trips from the fourth year, enriching student experiences.
Located in Brasília, SIS Swiss International School Brasília is a private bilingual day school that blends the Brazilian curriculum with International Baccalaureate programmes. Preschool is bilingual; Primary School is bilingual and combines the Brazilian curriculum with the IB Primary Years Programme; Secondary School follows the Brazilian curriculum and is driven by the IB Middle Years Programme; College combines the Brazilian college degree with ENEM preparation and the IB Diploma Programme. The school is part of SIS, a group founded in 1999 to provide bilingual education, now integrated into the Klett Group as of January 1, 2025. Facilities emphasize open spaces: an Indoor Sports Hall, a Cafeteria, an Adventure Park, plus a Biology Lab and a Computer Lab equipped for modern learning with Office 365.
