Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
International School Brunei (ISB) was founded in 1964 as a small tutorial group by Datin Glass. In 1976, it was formally established as International School (B) Bhd, a not-for-profit limited company. Over the years, ISB expanded its presence with the establishment of the Seria campus in 2006 and the Centre for Inclusive Learning in Panaga. In 2014, ISB celebrated its 50th anniversary and held a ceremony for its new home in Kg Sungai Hanching.
ISB fosters a vibrant, multicultural community comprising over 40 nationalities. The school emphasizes international mindedness, encouraging families to engage in multicultural events and activities that promote global awareness. Events such as International Day and the Borneo Global Issues Conference (BGIC) provide platforms for students and families to celebrate cultural diversity and engage in global discussions.
ISB has a formal Parent Teacher Association (PTA) that supports the school through regular collaboration with staff and involvement in events. The PTA plays a role in building community by helping to organise key events such as International Day and school performances. Members of the PTA also assist in welcoming new families, supporting fundraising efforts, and providing volunteer help at school functions. In addition to event support, the PTA contributes feedback through meetings with school leadership and helps strengthen communication between parents and the school
