AISPP opened in 2017 as a privately run international school. AISPP became an IB World School in 2019 and completed IB programme authorisations in subsequent years. The school has also completed external quality reviews and accreditations, including a WASC accreditation announcement and a CIS accreditation reported on the school site.
The school describes its community as a partnership between school, students and home and says community life includes regular social and cultural events on its garden campus. AISPP's news archive documents school-wide activities such as participation in the World Scholar's Cup, visits and learning projects (for example the 2030 SDGs Game), and performing-arts and sporting events that involve students and families. Co-curricular activities and organised clubs run across age groups and are managed through the school's activity platform, signalling an active programme of after-school and enrichment options for families.
AISPP highlights parent engagement but does not publish a dedicated Parent–Teacher Association page or a formal PTA constitution information publicly. However, parents are regularly involved through school events, communications about student progress and by registering children for co‑curricular activities (CCAs) via the SchoolsBuddy platform.
The Australian International School Phnom Penh (AISPP) teaches children aged 2–18 and combines the Australian Curriculum with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes PYP, MYP, DP and the IB Career-related Programme (CP). The campus is described on the school site as a garden campus with separate Primary and Secondary buildings, an Early Learning Centre, a 25 m outdoor pool, a 1080 sqm air‑conditioned gymnasium, a full-sized football pitch and a performing-arts theatre. AISPP is the only school in Cambodia authorised to offer all four IB programmes on the same campus, and the school's primary-language programmes include English instruction with language classes in Mandarin and Khmer; EAL support is offered for non‑fluent English speakers. For detailed tuition and the official fee schedule the school publishes a Fee Schedule (PDF) on its Admissions/Fees page.
