Admissions Process

1. Submit Your Application. Start your journey by completing our online application form; it's quick and easy and the first step toward joining our school community. The Admissions Staff are available to help you from your initial inquiry through to the completion of the application process. Required documents include the Enrollment Form, a copy of the student's most recent and last year (2 years) report cards, Vaccination/Immunization Record from birth, Birth Certificate, Award Certificate (if any), Personal Statement (minimum of 200 words), Completed Student Questionnaire Form, Completed School Recommendation Form, IEP/SSP Documentation (if any), and an Interview with the Principal. 2. Personalized Follow-Up. After we receive your application, the admissions team will reach out to discuss next steps and answer any questions. This is your chance to learn more about what makes Century Private School special. The team will guide you through the next steps of the process. 3. Prepare for Your Start. Once accepted, we'll help you get everything in place for a smooth beginning at our school, from orientation details to necessary materials.

Century Private School, founded in 1994 by Ms. Sybil Taylor, is a private, coeducational day school in Richmond Hill, housed in the Loyal True Blue and Orange Home, a historic 1922 building. It serves ages 2 to 18, from preschool through secondary education, with a Montessori program for early years and an enriched Ontario curriculum to Grade 12. The school offers specialist instruction in French, Visual Arts, Drama, Music, and Physical Education, with Grade 5–8 receiving enhanced focus in Math, Language, Science and Social Studies. International students receive ESL support and access to an Academic Pathway Program, plus Orientation to ease transition. The Arts Program includes Visual Arts, Music, Drama, and Performing Arts, with a Grade 4 Band and regular concerts. On campus, bright classrooms, a gym, three soccer fields, a basketball court, and an expansive outdoor field support activities. Extracurriculars include community service and AP courses for university readiness.
