Admissions

Admissions

Step 1: Apply Online. Use the online application portal to generate a unique username and submit the Application, the Parent supplement, and the Student supplement, along with supporting documents such as a recent photo, birth certificate or passport, and report cards (June 2026 and June 2025) plus any additional reports. Two Teacher Recommendation Forms must be submitted: one from a teacher who taught the student in 2025-2026 and the other from a current-year teacher; the first form should be delivered soon after the date of application, and the second by mid-January 2027. An interview cannot be booked until the first teacher recommendation form is received. Applications for 2027-2028 will open in late August; 2026-2027 applications are closed.

Waitlist

Greenwood's Admissions team decides whether to accept, wait list or decline applicants. Candidates on the wait list may be contacted and offered a spot if one or more candidates who have been extended an offer decline that offer. Such offers may be extended before or after the cut-off date for accepting or declining offers. The cut-off date for accepting or declining offers from the wait list will be adjusted depending on when the offer is made. Greenwood seeks a mix of students that can develop into a diverse and mutually supportive community; wait-listed candidates are not given priority solely for being wait-listed; as spots become available, the Admissions team considers all wait-listed candidates and makes offers based on an assessment of the grade, the school, and how wait-listed candidates will contribute to the grade and the school.
