Scholarships

Academic Entry Scholarship: One $1,000 scholarship is awarded each year to a new elementary student from Windsor-Essex or Chatham-Kent who is entering Lakeview Montessori School's elementary program; the scholarship is applied to tuition, not to a registration deposit; eligibility includes Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, entry to Lakeview's elementary program for the first time, attendance at a Ontario elementary school (Grades 1–8), and a minimum average of 85%. The scholarship recipient is notified after a personal interview with the Head of School. Bursaries (Need-Based Financial Support): Applications are submitted through the Financial Aid for Canadian Students (FACS) process via Apple Financial Services; not all applications can be accommodated due to funding limits; families must reapply each year; the process is confidential and involves assessment of a family's ability to contribute to school expenses; the Lakeview Scholarship and Bursary Committee reviews the recommendation. Referral Incentive Program: Families who refer a new registered family receive a ballot entry, with draws for a $200 reward card held in November and March. Sibling Discounts: 10% off the second child and 15% off the third child when two or more siblings attend Lakeview Montessori School. Financial assistance and scholarships are offered to families who demonstrate need and are committed to a long-term Montessori education at the school. The school serves infancy through Grade 8 and aims to maintain a sustainable community while supporting long-term enrollment.

Waitlist

The waitlist does not require a fee to join and is designed to organize enrollment needs in a clear, transparent system. Limited spaces mean priority can be affected by factors such as program availability for different ages. The inquiry form is kept on file for one year with the intention of offering a space when one becomes available. Waitlist procedure: 1) complete an online inquiry form; 2) the waitlist is ordered by criteria including date of inquiry, sibling enrollment, full-time versus part-time placement, and long-term consideration; 3) when space is available, a deposit must be received within seven days or the space moves to the next family. Access to the waitlist: families may contact the Admissions Coordinator to inquire about the current waitlist for their child's age group, but the full waitlist is not disclosed.
