The LFT is a member of the Small School Athletic Federation (SSAF) and participates in indoor and outdoor soccer (football), basketball, athletics, cross-country and badminton competitions. The school maintains a competitive level with prizes won in badminton, athletics, cross-country and soccer tournaments. In the primary school, students have two physical education sessions per week in English, and before and after school soccer, dance and ball hockey are offered as extracurricular activities; athletics is available free of charge two mornings per week from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. In secondary, all students receive a compulsory Physical Education and Sport (EPS) class weekly, totaling 2 to 4 hours depending on level, fostering teamwork, discipline and physical development. The LFT Sports Association operates as part of the school project, offering practice in multiple sports every week after 4:30 p.m., including soccer, acrosport, rugby, dance, circus arts and athletics.

Academic Facilities

LFT provides a comprehensive university and career orientation program. From 9th grade (3e) to the final year (Terminale), guidance helps students define their higher education plans with advice on careers, admissions procedures abroad, interview techniques and CV preparation; the orientation counselor has extensive experience with OUAC, Parcoursup, UCAS and Common App. The department runs events such as visits to over 20 Canadian, American and European universities, university fairs, application-preparation workshops, career forums and alumni meetings, as well as internships for 9th graders and family information sessions about North American and European universities and programs. The school's bilingual diploma and its international recognition open doors to leading universities in Canada, the United States, France and beyond, with a 100% university admission rate (75% to English-language universities and 25% to French-language universities) and strong baccalaureate results; scholarships such as Schulich, Queen's University Chancellor Scholarship, University of Toronto Scholarship and President's Scholars of Excellence at the University of Toronto are regularly awarded to LFT students.

Extra-Curricular Activities

The school's Sport Association provides opportunities to practice one or more sports each week year-round, complementary to EPS. After 4:30 p.m. every day, students can train in activities such as soccer, acrosport, rugby, dance, circus arts and athletics. In the primary, after-school offerings include soccer, dance and ball hockey, and athletics is available twice weekly from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. These extracurricular sports and activities form an integral part of student life at LFT.
