A wide array of clubs and activities covers arts and creative pursuits. Current clubs include Audio/Visual Club, Basketball Club, Chess Club, Communications Club, Dance Club, Drama Club, Marketing Club, Piano Club, Photography Club, Soccer Club, and University Ambassadors. Clubs are held weekly.
TAIE welcomes students from more than 30 countries and integrates cultural education within the classroom. The school emphasizes diversity as a core aspect of learning and offers a global community through cultural events. It is located in Thornhill, Ontario, enabling interactions with Canadians and authentic Canadian culture.
Student Life provides a large array of after school activities, student clubs, and volunteer opportunities. TAIE organizes multiple after school activities each month, including large excursions such as Niagara Falls, a camping weekend in Algonquin Park, and a maple syrup tour in Northern Ontario. Current clubs span arts to athletics and are held weekly.
OSSD students are required to complete 40 hours of community service. TAIE encourages students to gain experience in their fields of interest and to enhance scholarship opportunities through volunteering. TAIE is proud to partner with many different companies that offer volunteering opportunities to TAIE students.
Leadership & Life Skills include Student Council, public speaking workshops, and hands-on experiences that build leadership and critical thinking. Students can participate in the University Ambassadors club as part of leadership activities. These opportunities support professional skills and university preparation.
Wellness & Personal Growth include mental wellness programs, mindfulness, and personal development activities. TAIE maintains a Student Success team where counsellors monitor students' academic performance and wellbeing and intervene when necessary. The program emphasizes student wellbeing as an integral part of the learning environment.
TAIE International Institute is a private Canadian high school in Thornhill, Ontario offering Grades 7–12 with day and boarding options on a five-acre campus. The school follows the Canadian curriculum, with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) pathway requiring 30 credits (18 compulsory, 12 optional), 40 hours of community service, and a literacy requirement. ESL courses and IELTS preparation support language learners, and University Preparation Courses (UPC), including UPC Elite for high-achieving students, prepare graduates for Canadian and international universities. The campus features 50,000 square feet of indoor space, a library, science labs, a reading room, a music room, an art room, and classrooms, plus a gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, and badminton.
