English is the language of instruction across TAIE's programs. The English Learning Centre offers five ESL levels (ESLAO - Level 1, ESLBO - Level 2, ESLCO - Level 3, ESLDO - Level 4, ESLEO - Level 5) with a placement test to determine each student's level. ESL courses are designed to build on prior education and English knowledge, and the program is approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education to provide essential English language skills for everyday and academic purposes.
Immersive English learning is provided as part of the English Learning Centre. Students are placed into a total English learning environment woven into the curriculum to continuously practice English inside and outside the classroom. English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses follow the ESL levels after progression.
TAIE International Institute is a private Canadian high school in Thornhill, Ontario offering Grades 7–12 with day and boarding options on a five-acre campus. The school follows the Canadian curriculum, with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) pathway requiring 30 credits (18 compulsory, 12 optional), 40 hours of community service, and a literacy requirement. ESL courses and IELTS preparation support language learners, and University Preparation Courses (UPC), including UPC Elite for high-achieving students, prepare graduates for Canadian and international universities. The campus features 50,000 square feet of indoor space, a library, science labs, a reading room, a music room, an art room, and classrooms, plus a gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, and badminton.
