- Tuition (annual): CAD 17,600 per grade.
- Tuition (semester): CAD 8,800 per semester.
- School fee: CAD 1,200 per grade.
- Uniform fee (one‑time): CAD 350 (a blazer, 2 polos, and a hoodie).
- Custodian fee: CAD 1,000 for 12 months; Full guardianship option: CAD 8,000 for 12 months.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Middle School follows a two‑semester academic year: Semester 1 (September–January) and Semester 2 (February–June). Tuition is shown both as an annual amount and as a per‑semester amount.
- High School operates on a multi‑semester system with up to five short semesters per year (each 8–10 weeks depending on the term); students may enrol into semester‑length courses and fees are structured by credits/semester packages.
- Invoices carry the school's bank details and payment instructions; payments should allow sufficient processing time when using wire transfer, Flywire, cheque, or other bank channels. Specific invoice due dates and installment deadlines appear on each student invoice.
Boarding & Accommodation (where provided)
- UIS offers on‑site residence options (UIS Main Residence and UIS Regular Residence) and homestay options (Premium and Regular Homestay). Homestay pricing is CAD 1,650 for a 4‑week stay (three meals); homestay placement fee is CAD 250; airport pick‑up is CAD 150. Residence and homestay arrangements include three meals and student support according to the accommodation type selected.
Other costs and incidental fees

Refund information and conditions
- International students: a full refund less an administration fee of CAD 600 is granted only if a Canadian study permit is refused by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Refund requests must be supported by the original Letter of Refusal from IRCC, the original Letter of Acceptance from the school, and the original receipt for paid tuition. No refund is issued if the student or guardians withdraw after the school issues a tuition receipt and/or Letter of Acceptance, unless the study permit is officially rejected by IRCC.
- Domestic students: no refund is issued once the student starts courses, even if the student does not complete the courses, due to class‑enrolment management.
Fee payment options
- Wire transfer to the school's bank account; the beneficiary name is Urban International School (2017) Inc.; bank details appear on each student invoice.
- Flywire (online payments including many local bank methods and credit/debit card payments).
- Money order, bank draft or certified cheque payable to Urban International School (2017) Inc. (include student name and ID on the payment).
- E‑Transfer (for Canadian bank accounts) to deposit@uihs.ca; include student name and payment purpose in the memo to help verification.

Urban International School (UIS) is a private high school in Canada for students aged 12 to 18. It follows the Canadian Curriculum with Middle School (grades 7–8) and High School (grades 9–12). Middle School covers eight subject areas—Arts, Core French, Health and Physical Education, Language, Science & Technology, History, Geography—and a daily schedule of Language Arts, History/Geography, Math, Science & Technology, and French. High School offers courses in Arts, Business & Management, Canadian & World Studies, Computer & Technology, English, Mathematics, Social Sciences & Humanities, and Sciences, with electives such as Visual Design and Introduction to Computer Programming. UIS provides University Stream and College Stream pathways, guided by an Academic Tracking System and offering options in Engineering, Science & Math, Arts, and Business, plus arts, languages and drama electives. Students pursue the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD): 18 compulsory credits, 12 optional credits, 40 hours of community involvement, and the OSSLT/OSSLC literacy requirement. Scholarships totaling over $1.266 million were awarded in 2024–25, with 2025 offers to Canadian universities.
