Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. International students who have already completed Grade 12 and are not eligible to apply to Canadian universities enroll in the one-year University Preparation Program (CPU) at USCA Academy. The CPU is designed to help students complete all prerequisites for entry to a Canadian or North American university. After successful completion of CPU, students receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and are offered guaranteed admission to a university program of their choice, including fields such as Accounting, Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Studies, and Social Science. The CPU is delivered within a Canadian curriculum framework and is supported by academic guidance counselors who help plan a personalized study path and provide university application assistance. Enrollment includes four intakes per year with math and English placement tests to determine the appropriate starting level.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

2. Scholarships are awarded on a sliding scale based on incoming grades. Students may apply for a scholarship based on their grades, and may re-qualify for a scholarship by maintaining or increasing their grades using grades from a prior year at the Academy. Scholarships are applied once yearly. The policy outlines a tiered structure with grade ranges such as 95%+, 90%+, 85%+, and 80%+ to determine the scholarship amount applied toward tuition and fees.
