Admissions

Step 1: Eligibility and enrolment. Grade 7 entry accepts around 96 new students; Grade 8 has no new enrolment; Grade 9 accepts around 22 new students; Grade 10 up to 4; Grade 11 up to 4; Grade 12 has no new enrolment. Students must come from the Greater Toronto Area or live in Toronto with a parent who holds a valid Canadian work permit, and must reside in the GTA full-time with a parent or legal guardian for the full duration of their studies at UTS.

Scholarships

Step 2: Stage 1 components. Applicants provide report cards from the previous three years, an Interests and Activities List, the UTS Entrance Exam, and two teacher references for grades 9–11; optional additional documents may be submitted. Step 3: Application process. The UTS Application Portal opens in September 2026 and closes on December 1, 2026; the application fee is $250 CAD for early registration (before November 1, 2026) or $300 CAD for regular registration (before December 1, 2026); waivers are available.
