Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Bradford has an Education, Wellbeing and Inclusion area that coordinates student development across levels. The Psychology team provides orientation and tailored support for each cycle, aligned with students' developmental stages. In prevention, actions safeguard students' emotional well-being, with psychologists developing personalized plans that strengthen socio-emotional skills. The Convivencia area fosters a safe school climate where respect and positive relationships are central. The Inclusion area offers guidance and tools to promote inclusion and provides specialized support to students with special educational needs and their families to ensure learning access. The school also runs student leadership and family engagement activities to support the community.

Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Bradford provides specialized support for students with special educational needs through the Inclusion area, including guidance and targeted assistance for students and their families. Education professionals coordinate individualized plans and accommodations to ensure access to learning. Bradford adheres to Ley 20.845 de Inclusión Escolar, with inclusion admissions processes managed accordingly; inclusion seats are managed under regular admission procedures. The Inclusion team includes a coordinator and educators who support students with SEN across Infant to Senior levels. The school informs the community about inclusion policies and provides ongoing support for families and educators in inclusive practices.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Bradford's curriculum uses bilingual education with all subjects taught entirely in English, except for Language, from Play Group through 6th grade, enabling early, natural, and progressive language immersion. The school is an IB World School. From 2027, the Primary Years Programme will be introduced as part of the IB framework. The Diploma Programme is established in Senior High since 2015, strengthening students' preparation for university studies. The English-taught curriculum supports language development across the curriculum and enhances international-mindedness.

Mental Wellbeing

Bradford has a Guidance and Wellbeing area coordinated by a director who oversees student wellbeing across the school. The Psychology area provides orientation and tailored support for students at every level, with psychologists developing personalized plans to strengthen socio-emotional skills. The Education area runs the Programa de Desarrollo Personal with four axes: Growing in community, Building my identity, Recognizing my value, and Discovering my purpose. The Convivencia area works to create a safe, respectful learning environment and includes programs for students and families. Inclusion initiatives provide targeted support for students with special educational needs and families, contributing to overall wellbeing. Leadership and family engagement activities further support student wellbeing.

Safeguarding

Bradford School is an IB World School in Chile serving students from Play Group to 12th Grade, with ages 3 to 18. It currently offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and plans to begin the Primary Years Programme in 2027. The school provides bilingual education, with most subjects taught in English and language study in Spanish, enabling early immersion and progressive bilingual development across the curriculum.
