Admission Process. At Chartwell International School the admissions process is designed to be child friendly and to support a smooth transition. The steps to enroll are:
01 Express interest by email or phone; Chartwell will provide all necessary information.
02 Visit the school with your child to meet staff and learn about the curriculum, facilities and educational approach; campus tours are encouraged.
03 Schedule a free trial week for your child; during this period the child participates in classes and staff observe to ensure a smooth transition.
04 After the trial week, staff provide comprehensive feedback and professional recommendations based on observations.
05 If Chartwell staff determine that the school is the right fit, enrollment proceeds; new students are welcomed at any time provided there are available places.
The school takes a holistic approach to admissions and class placement, considering factors such as academic performance, English language ability, level of independence, behavior, and other relevant circumstances.
Enrollment requires the following documents: birth certificate of the child; health certificate including allergies or other pertinent health information; RUT/Passport of both parents; RUT/Passport of all authorized individuals who will pick up or drop off the child; passport-sized photo of the child.
