Facilities Overview

Chartwell International School currently has three campuses in the Lo Curro neighborhood of Vitacura. The school buildings have been repurposed from residential homes, creating a cozy and comfortable learning environment. Each campus is located in a safe and secure area, set back from the road, and tailored to meet the needs of students. The campuses serve Pre-School, Lower Primary, and Upper Primary/Lower Secondary divisions.

Sports Facilities

Chartwell Secondary School is located in the beautiful, quiet, residential area of Santiago, Vitacura. The school has sports fields for football, basketball, and volleyball. The classrooms are spacious and bright. This environment supports both learning and athletic development.

Academic Facilities

The curriculum is based on the Cambridge International Education Program. It is designed to develop critical thinking, interdisciplinary inquiry, and all-round development. The program emphasizes creativity, community engagement, and environmental awareness taught from an international perspective. Graduates go on to universities around the world. Students come from many different backgrounds and cultures.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Afterschool offers a five-day-per-week program. Daily snacks are provided. A variety of activities are offered. Activities are led by experienced professionals and include child-initiated and staff-directed experiences, plus time for structured and unstructured play.

Chartwell International School Santiago provides a Cambridge-based international education for ages 3 to 18. The Primary School follows the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, with a Cambridge pathway through Secondary, and Years 10–11 GCSE/IGCSE and Years 12–13 AS/A-Levels. All subjects are taught in English, with a curriculum aligned to the British National Curriculum and adapted for an international context by native-speaking teachers. The school emphasizes critical thinking, interdisciplinary inquiry, creativity, and community engagement. Chartwell operates three campuses in the Lo Curro area of Vitacura.
