The Extraprogrammatic Artistic-Cultural activities include music education across styles (School of Rock, Schulorchester, Choir, Drums, Piano, Bass, and Electric Guitar) and other arts. Additional offerings include Dance, Chess, Environmental Workshop, Textile Arts and Crafts, Drawing, Oil Painting, School News, Cooking, Storytelling, Astronomy, and Entertaining Computing. These activities promote creativity, self-expression, and experiential learning.
The school teaches Spanish, German and English, incorporating German culture and respect for diversity into students' worldview. German language education is an integral part of the language program.

Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) is part of the Diploma Programme and aims to develop personal and interpersonal growth to become positive citizens and leaders. It defines seven learning outcomes focusing on identifying strengths, overcoming challenges, planning and undertaking CAS experiences, commitment and perseverance, teamwork, global awareness, and ethical considerations.
Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) encourages leadership and citizenship through experiential learning. It emphasizes planning, perseverance, teamwork, and ethical considerations to develop professional skills. The CAS coordinator is Cecilia Candia.
Extracurricular sports focus on physical, emotional, and social development. The program offers two participation channels: Formation Groups and Specialization; available activities include Athletics, Basketball, Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Swimming, and Volleyball.
Colegio Alemán de Temuco is a private German school in Temuco, part of the Deutsche Schule Chile network. Serving ages 4 to 18, the school offers Prekindergarten through IV Medio, with the IB Middle Years Programme and the IB Diploma Programme. German is taught as the first foreign language, with English as the second; the Diploma Programme can be delivered in English, French, or Spanish.
