Dunalastair Schools

Dunalastair operates across three campuses in Greater Santiago: Las Condes, Chicureo (Colina district), and Peñalolén. Las Condes is the oldest site and contains an Early Childhood Centre for infants and young children; Chicureo sits on a 12.5‑hectare campus with extensive sports facilities; Peñalolén is situated in a nature-surrounded setting with an ECC and Junior/Senior School facilities. The three sites form One School: Three Sites.

A School Bus service operates for Las Condes, Chicureo and Peñalolén; routes are adjusted to the school timetable and drivers can be contacted directly to arrange journeys.

Application / Joining fee (Cuota de incorporación)
- New-student joining fee is charged at enrolment and must be paid within the formalisation period. Amounts are expressed in Unidades de Fomento (UF). Joining fee by campus and level: Las Condes / Chicureo / Peñalolén — Playgroup: UF 75; Pre-Kinder / Kindergarten: UF 75; 1°–8° Básico (Junior/Middle): UF 80; I Medio (Senior Year 10): UF 67.

Tuition (Colegiatura) — amounts by campus and year group
- Tuition is listed as an annual colegiatura in UF. Annual colegiatura amounts by campus and level are:
- Las Condes: Playgroup (INFANT PG) UF 140; Pre-Kinder / Kindergarten UF 142.5; 1°–8° Básico UF 182.8; I Medio UF 182.8.
- Chicureo: Playgroup UF 140; Pre-Kinder / Kindergarten UF 142.5; 1°–8° Básico UF 182.8; I Medio UF 182.8.
- Peñalolén: Playgroup UF 140; Pre-Kinder / Kindergarten UF 142.5; 1°–8° Básico UF 167.9; I Medio UF 167.9.
- The annual colegiatura covers specified standard items (see next section).

What tuition (colegiatura) includes
- Standard inclusions carried by the colegiatura: school learning materials; school accident insurance (agreement with Clínica Alemana); and school-life insurance covering tuition in the event of the death or qualifying disability of the responsible guardian.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- The joining (registration) fee must be paid at formalisation of enrolment within the stated deadline (the school sets a short payment window after offer acceptance).
- Tuition is expressed and billed in UF through the school's online payments system; the payments portal records each instalment as a UF amount and shows a CLP equivalent at payment time. The payments portal displays individual instalment numbers and the "Monto Cuota" (amount per instalment) in UF.
- Payments and instalments are handled through the school's payment platform; the platform shows instalment-by-instalment detail for colegiatura in UF and its peso equivalent when paying.

Boarding fees
- Dunalastair operates as a day school; no boarding provision or boarding fees are listed.

Other costs and typical additional charges
- Uniforms: Official uniform specifications and supplier details are provided; uniforms are purchased separately from authorised suppliers and prices are set by the suppliers. Families are expected to buy required uniform items from the listed vendors.
- School supplies and textbooks: The school provides reading books and textbooks; some consumable items and specific personal supplies (locker padlock, calculator, aprons, art materials and other small items) are required from families at certain year levels.
- Meals / dining: On-site lunches are provided by the campus dining service; the school describes menus and nutritional oversight but dining / catering arrangements and any associated fees are managed in conjunction with the provider (family charge arrangements apply through the service).
- Transport: School bus services are offered through external transport providers; routes and fees are arranged directly with those providers.
- Co-curricular activities and trips: Co-curricular workshops, clubs and international educational experiences (study trips, exchanges, external programmes) are organised as part of the curriculum offer; many of these programmes and trips are run as separate activities that normally carry additional fees charged to participating families.

Refunds and cancellations

- Fees are processed through the school's online payments portal which records amounts in UF and shows the equivalent in Chilean pesos at payment time. The portal displays instalment lines and "Forma de Pago" on payment pages. For payment methods and the mechanics of card payments, bank transfers or other options, payments are handled via the portal and by the payment provider used by the school.
