Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

Lincoln International Academy employs a team of highly qualified teachers and a curriculum that blends international standards with innovative pedagogy. Students engage in meaningful learning that develops critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. The school reports high results on national and international assessments, reflecting a strong focus on academic achievement. Personalized support helps each student overcome challenges and pursue their goals, while enquiry and curiosity are encouraged to prepare them for university and life beyond school.

Arts and Creative

Arts and performing arts are a key part of Lincoln International Academy, with the arts seen as a pathway to developing creativity, leadership, and teamwork through musicals and festivals. Students collaborate on production elements such as costume design, choreography, scenery, and staging to bring performances to life. Musical learning starts early, with opportunities to form bands and participate in annual musicals and festivals. In 2024 a Performing Arts classroom was launched to further develop artistic skills across the curriculum.

Cultural and Language

The school operates a 100% bilingual learning environment with about 25% of students coming from other countries, and provides a solid English-language education. English is the center of daily learning, supported by qualified native-English teachers and Cambridge English certifications that attest language proficiency. Cultural exchange is valued, with students interacting with peers from many nationalities to broaden global perspectives, using English as a key means of communication.

Social and Hobbies

The school offers more than 30 sports and extracurricular activities across two campuses. Sports include soccer, volleyball, basketball, field hockey, and rugby, with new courts added in Chicureo and Lo Barnechea since 2023, and a free-form 'Escuelitas Deportivas' program that lets students choose a sport. The sports program emphasizes teamwork, fair play, and perseverance, complemented by a range of workouts to develop athletic skills. Students have broad opportunities for physical activity and recreational interests as part of school life.

Community and Service

KiVa, the Finnish anti-bullying program, is implemented at Lincoln International Academy with coexistence ambassadors on both campuses and an annual Coexistence Week. KiVa was developed by the University of Turku in collaboration with Finland's Ministry of Education, aiming to reduce bullying while increasing joy in learning and motivation. The school's coexistence initiatives foster a safe, respectful school community. These programs contribute to a welcoming and supportive environment for students.

Leadership and Professional

SEEK Life Project, launched in 2021, promotes vocational development and aims to maximize students' decision-making through goal setting, exploring alternatives, evaluating interests and skills, and acquiring knowledge. It guides students through graduation options, university admissions, and career planning while emphasizing emotional well-being and academic support. The program is built on four pillars: Searching, Exploring, Evaluating, and Knowledge. Lincoln International Academy also offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, which supports holistic development and enhances university access in Chile and abroad.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Lincoln's Integral Support Department (DAI) promotes the integral development and emotional well-being of students, providing counseling, social skills development, and social-emotional support as needed. The Outdoor Education program, implemented since 2016, offers excursions and field trips to connect students with nature and promote a sustainable future, enriching education through outdoor experiences. KiVa anti-bullying initiatives, coexistence ambassadors, and Coexistence Week help maintain a safe and joyful learning environment. The Escuelitas Deportivas program provides accessible opportunities for physical activity to support fitness and overall wellbeing.
