Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

The school offers a broad range of after-school programs that deepen academic interests in science, technology and inquiry. Robotics is offered at basic and advanced levels (Spike LEGO) and LEGO workshops support problem-solving and programming. Minecraft Education Edition is available for upper elementary to middle grades, and a Maker Space program covers 3D modeling, virtual reality, augmented reality, and programming. Additional science and financial literacy workshops promote hands-on experimentation and practical understanding.

Arts and Creative

The school provides a rich range of arts-based after-school activities. Ballet and Flamenco dance workshops, theatre workshops, and a variety of visual arts classes (drawing, painting, crafts) are offered. Additional activities include origami (Alas de Papel), metal workshops (metalophone), piano lessons, and sewing/crafts (costura, moda y accesorios). These programs foster creativity and collaboration.

Social and Hobbies

Our after-school activities enable students to strengthen social skills by collaborating in diverse groups. A variety of sports and clubs provide opportunities for teamwork and shared interest, including football, basketball, volleyball, athletics, and swimming, along with climbing and other recreational activities. Arts and hobby workshops such as theatre, dance, drawing and crafts encourage peer interaction and creative expression. Chess and other strategic games support friendly competition and social engagement.

Leadership and Professional

The program includes leadership and life-skills components, such as a Financial Education for Children workshop that builds budgeting and decision-making abilities. Extracurricular activities are coordinated by teachers who serve as activity coordinators, fostering organization, responsibility and collaboration. Teachers listed in the brochure coordinate each activity.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Wellbeing and fitness are central to SEK Chile's after-school program. Swimming, athletics, and sport climbing are offered at multiple levels, along with artistic gymnastics, football, basketball and volleyball. Dance and theatre programs, plus other physical-creative activities like ballet and flamenco, promote physical health and teamwork.
