Beanstalk International Bilingual School Chengdu Campus provides bilingual education within an international framework. The curriculum is bilingual and interdisciplinary, and includes Western culture classes such as dance, drama, calligraphy, Wushu, and science and technology. The campus offers IB programs across three stages: IB PYP for ages 3–12, IB MYP for ages 11–16, and IB DP for ages 16–19.
Beanstalk International Bilingual School (BIBS) Chengdu Campus sits in Longquanyi District, Chengdu, Sichuan, at No. 351 Honghe Street. The campus was established in 2016 and serves about 600 students with a teacher–student ratio of 1:5 and typical class sizes around 22. The school offers IB programmes: Primary Years Programme (PYP) accredited, Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidate, and Diploma Programme (DP) accredited, alongside A-Level and HKDSE options. The language of instruction is bilingual in English and Chinese, and English and Chinese are taught as subjects within the MYP and DP curricula. Extracurriculars span sport, performing arts, and STEM, with clubs such as Academic and Intellectual, Arts and Creative, and Cultural and Language. The campus provides a school bus service with fixed stations across Chengdu and dormitories for boarding. The PYP Principal is Nigel Jones, supported by a senior leadership team including the Head of Schools and other international programme leads.
