The BIBS Chengdu Longquanyi Campus was established in 2016 in the Longquanyi District of Chengdu. It is part of the Beanstalk Education Group, a network of BIBS campuses in China with more than 20 years of bilingual education experience in an international framework. The Chengdu campus is IB PYP, MYP and DP fully accredited and is also authorized for A-Level, IGCSE, and AP. The campus sits on a 30-acre site at Building 351, Honghe Road, Longquanyi District, Chengdu, and offers facilities including an IB library, a dancing room, a science lab, a music room, an art studio, a design workshop, a gym, an Apple computer room, a piano room, and various courts.
The Chengdu campus emphasizes Chinese roots and global vision. The campus fosters a safe, happy learning environment built on Love, Care and Support. Open Day events and Cambridge admissions illustrate active family involvement and a strong academic community. The Class of 2025 has been admitted to Cambridge University.
PTA involvement exists across Beanstalk campuses; parents participate in the school through PTA and regular parent meetings. This PTA model aligns with Beanstalk's family‑centered culture that emphasizes Love, Care and Support. Community events such as Open Day provide opportunities for PTA members to engage with teachers and students. The school highlights student achievements such as Cambridge University admissions as indicators of community support and collaboration. Beanstalk International Bilingual School (BIBS) Chengdu Campus sits in Longquanyi District, Chengdu, Sichuan, at No. 351 Honghe Street. The campus was established in 2016 and serves about 600 students with a teacher–student ratio of 1:5 and typical class sizes around 22. The school offers IB programmes: Primary Years Programme (PYP) accredited, Middle Years Programme (MYP) candidate, and Diploma Programme (DP) accredited, alongside A-Level and HKDSE options. The language of instruction is bilingual in English and Chinese, and English and Chinese are taught as subjects within the MYP and DP curricula. Extracurriculars span sport, performing arts, and STEM, with clubs such as Academic and Intellectual, Arts and Creative, and Cultural and Language. The campus provides a school bus service with fixed stations across Chengdu and dormitories for boarding. The PYP Principal is Nigel Jones, supported by a senior leadership team including the Head of Schools and other international programme leads.
