Canada British Columbia International Schools – Chengdu (CBC – Chengdu) operates on the Beihu Campus of Chengdu Shishi High School, located on Chengdu's northern city boundary. CBC – Chengdu has been in operation since 2012. The Beihu Campus hosts about 4,000 students; many reside in campus dormitories. The campus includes a stadium, track and field facility, gymnasium, and science laboratories, with staff and student dining halls, a bookstore, and a small supermarket. CBC – Chengdu uses BC textbooks and teacher resources for all subjects, aligned to the British Columbia offshore curriculum. Classrooms are equipped with SmartBoards and internet access, and there is a BC library. Access to the campus is via taxis, buses, and subway, with about a 30-minute trip to downtown Chengdu. The BC School Principal is Mr. Shaun Nish.
