CBC – Chengdu began operations in 2012 and is housed on the Beihu Campus of Chengdu Shishi Middle School. The Beihu Campus hosts about 4,000 students, while the parent school population is about 6,000. The CBC program is owned and operated by Beijing Kezhi Times International Consulting Co., Ltd. (Kezhi). The Offshore School Representative for the BC Ministry of Education is Adrian Conradi, and Kyle Chong serves as Superintendent of Canada British Columbia International Schools. CBC–Chengdu uses BC textbooks and resources, with teachers assigned by subject area as needed.
CBC – Chengdu operates within the Chengdu Shishi Middle School community on the Beihu Campus, sharing facilities with Shishi students. The campus includes dormitories, a stadium, track and field facilities, a gym, science labs, computer labs, a BC library, a bookstore, a dining hall, and a small supermarket. BC teachers are housed in nearby modern apartments, with local amenities within walking distance. Public materials do not list formal community or cultural events for CBC – Chengdu, but the campus environment supports an international community within Chengdu.
Canada British Columbia International Schools – Chengdu (CBC – Chengdu) operates on the Beihu Campus of Chengdu Shishi High School, located on Chengdu's northern city boundary. CBC – Chengdu has been in operation since 2012. The Beihu Campus hosts about 4,000 students; many reside in campus dormitories. The campus includes a stadium, track and field facility, gymnasium, and science laboratories, with staff and student dining halls, a bookstore, and a small supermarket. CBC – Chengdu uses BC textbooks and teacher resources for all subjects, aligned to the British Columbia offshore curriculum. Classrooms are equipped with SmartBoards and internet access, and there is a BC library. Access to the campus is via taxis, buses, and subway, with about a 30-minute trip to downtown Chengdu.
