The school is owned by the Chongqing Fudi Yew Wah International Kindergarten Foundation. It is part of the Yew Chung Yew Wah (YCYW) network of international schools. Governance is provided by the foundation in coordination with the YCYW network.
The Chongqing Fudi Yew Wah International Education Kindergarten (YWIEK) is located at No. 2 Huxia Street, Yuanyang Town, Yubei District, Chongqing 401122, China. Opened in 2002, it is part of the Yew Chung Yew Wah Education Network, offering a bilingual early-years program for Chinese and expatriate children. The school emphasizes a multicultural learning community and a close parent–teacher partnership, with a 5:1 child-to-teacher ratio and more than 5,000 square metres of space. The program serves children aged 2 to 6 and uses the YWIEK Curriculum, which includes Toddler (2–3), Early Childhood (3–5) and Pre-Primary Preparation (5–6) curricula, plus unique programmes such as YWIEK English Programme and early literacy/mathematics support. Instruction is delivered in English and Chinese within a bilingual environment, fostering cross-cultural learning. The network emphasises child safety and a supportive, open dialogue with families within a multicultural community.
