Fees
Application fees
- No separate application or non‑refundable application fee is published for Kunming World Youth Academy in the school's admissions materials. Parents complete online registration and, if offered a place, are required to pay the stated tuition within the deadline in the offer to secure the place.

Tuition fees by year group (per term / per year)
- Primary (Grade 5): RMB 80,000 per year (listed as an annual amount for Grade 5).
- Lower secondary / Middle (Grades 6–8 / Grade 7 entry examples): RMB 92,000 per year (equivalently shown as RMB 46,000 per semester in junior‑middle recruitment notices).
- Pre‑Diploma / Early high school (Grades 9–10 / Grade 9–10): RMB 103,500–103,500 per year (published for the pre‑DP years / Grades 9–10).
- Diploma years / Senior high (Grades 11–12): RMB 115,000 per year (Grades 11–12). For Grade 10 / the first year of high school the school has published RMB 103,500–103,500 per year; Grade 11 and Grade 12 are RMB 115,000 per year, with Grade 10 sometimes shown at a slightly lower rate in school materials.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Where the school lists a per‑semester amount (for example junior‑middle recruitment), tuition is billed by semester; where the school lists an annual amount (senior high), tuition is billed on an annual basis. Parents are required to pay the tuition within the time stated on the school's admission/fee notice; failure to pay by the stated deadline may result in forfeiture of the offered place. The school follows the local practice of charging by academic year or by semester.

Boarding / accommodation fees
- Boarding is available for eligible students (weekday/5‑day boarding with weekends at home). Published boarding charges are:
- Junior‑middle boarding: RMB 2,500 per semester for a two‑person room (equivalent to RMB 5,000 per year).
- Senior high boarding: RMB 5,000 per year for a two‑person room.

Other costs and mandatory incidental fees
- The school lists tuition and accommodation as the core charged items. No fixed published amounts for uniforms, meals, textbooks, activity fees, insurance or transport are included alongside the core tuition numbers in the school's recruitment notices used for admissions summaries. Typical additional items that families should expect to budget for (but for which no fixed published amounts are provided by the school documents reviewed) include:
- School meals / cafeteria (daily meal costs borne by families or charged to student account).
- Textbooks, workbooks and learning materials where applicable.
- Uniforms, bedding or one‑off boarding setup items for residential students.
- Extracurricular activity fees, trips and optional programs.
- Student insurance or medical check fees when required at registration.
- When specific numeric charges for uniforms, meals or other ancillary items are published for a particular intake or year, they are issued separately in the school's admission or registration materials.

Refund information
- The school's admission notices require payment within a named timeframe to secure a place but do not publish a detailed public refund policy alongside the fee amounts in the recruitment notices reviewed. Local education pricing rules require schools to charge by academic year or semester and restrict cross‑year pre‑collection; refund handling is therefore determined by the school's own registration and financial procedures. Families should note that the school's formal refund terms are not included in the publicly posted recruitment fee summaries.

Fee payment options
- The school's admissions and enrollment notices instruct parents to pay the tuition by the deadline specified in the offer/registration communications but do not publish a standard list of accepted payment channels (for example specific bank account transfer, Alipay/WeChat, or credit‑card acceptance) within the recruitment‑notice fee tables. Payment channel details and invoicing instructions are provided to parents at the point of admission/registration.

Summary of what was not published in the school's admissions fee notices
- No separate, explicit application or registration fee amount is published in the admissions announcements reviewed. Detailed numeric charges for uniforms, textbooks, school meals, extracurricular programs, exact payment channels, and a formal refund policy are not published together with the headline tuition and boarding figures in the recruitment notices; these items are handled in the school's enrolment/registration paperwork and fee notices to admitted families. For the core tuition and boarding figures above, refer to the school's grade‑level recruitment notices and admissions materials.
