1) IB — Candidate School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP): the school reports it is a Candidate School for IB PYP and MYP (candidate status announced on 24 October 2025). Candidate status indicates the school is in the IB authorization process but is not yet authorized to deliver IB programmes; authorization must be granted separately by the IB Organization.
2) Duke of Edinburgh's International Award — School Awards Delivery Centre authorization: the school reports it was granted the Duke of Edinburgh School Awards Delivery Centre authorization (news posted 2 August 2021). That authorization permits the school to register and support students locally through the Award's programme and assessments.
3) Oxford AQA — Official exam centre approval: the school reports it was approved as an Oxford AQA official examination centre (the site states approval was granted on 21 March 2024; news posted 2 April 2024). This approval allows the school to host Oxford AQA examinations on site.
I found two items on the school website in the past five years that are recognitions/authorizations awarded to the school (not to individual students). Each item below is taken from the school's own news pages.
1) Duke of Edinburgh's International Award — School Awards Delivery Centre authorization (2 August 2021): the school's news item states it was granted the School Awards Delivery Centre authorization, enabling the school to deliver and support the Award for eligible students. This is presented on the school site as a formal authorization awarded to the school.
2) Approval as an Oxford AQA examination centre (approval dated 21 March 2024; news posted 2 April 2024): the school's news item reports that it was approved to be an Oxford AQA official exam centre, an institutional approval that allows the school to administer Oxford AQA examinations on campus.
Note: the International Baccalaureate entries on the school site describe the school's status as a Candidate School for PYP and MYP; candidate status is recorded on the site but is an authorization/process stage rather than a completed IB authorization (see accreditations above).
