The school offers International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). The Diploma Programme was authorised on 30 April 2013 with English as the language of instruction; the Middle Years Programme was authorised on 29 October 2019 with English and Chinese as languages of instruction; and the Primary Years Programme was authorised on 22 November 2021 with English and Chinese as languages of instruction. The Diploma Programme includes subjects such as Mathematics Analysis, Business Management, Biology, Visual Arts, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, English B, Chemistry, Theory of Knowledge, and Chinese A Literature; the Middle Years Programme includes a Personal Project. The Primary Years Programme is coordinated by Connor McDougall, the Diploma Programme by Yi Zhang, and the Middle Years Programme by Bojan Geng.
Visual Arts is offered as part of the IB curriculum. Visual Arts is listed among the Diploma Programme subjects, and arts topics are integrated into the programme mix across DP (and related IB levels).
The language of instruction across IB programmes includes English and Chinese (with DP historically listed in English and, later, English plus Chinese). The Primary Years Programme is coordinated by Connor McDougall, reflecting dual-language IB provision at WHBC. The school offers Chinese A Literature as part of the Diploma Programme, illustrating bilingual language study within the IB framework.
