On-campus dining is provided via a PYP dining hall and a commercial kitchen on Hanova's Chanba campus; meals are prepared daily with fresh ingredients; dietary needs are accommodated; Western and Asian flavors are offered, with a world-leading food service provider overseeing the kitchen.
Hanova has four houses: Han House (Red), Qin House (Blue), Song House (Green) and Tang House (Yellow). The House System was established in 2014 to provide competition and community through a range of school activities. Each house in the Secondary has two leaders (one boy and one girl) elected by all members of the house in Years 10–11; in the Primary School, leaders are a captain and a vice-captain elected from Year 6. The houses compete for the title House of the Year based on points from three activity groups: Academic achievement, Service activities, and Sports activities; points are allocated equally across groups.
Hanova is a community-driven, not-for-profit school, actively supported by the regional government authorities.
