The school does not provide boarding. Transportation includes 15 routes covering the Western, Southwest, South, North, East zones, Pance, and Jamundí. A driver and route attendant, certified for safety, operate door-to-door service for our female students. Pick-up starts at 6:00 a.m.; arrival at Aspaen Tacurí is 7:20 a.m.; departure from Aspaen Tacurí is 3:30 p.m.; arrival home is 4:30–5:30 p.m.
Lunch is served at midday for the entire school community, with a monthly predefined menu. Optional mid-morning snacks for early childhood and primary levels are available per the predefined monthly menu and family requests, and billed monthly. Aspaen is a nonprofit organization that runs a network of schools and preschools in nine cities across Colombia, promoted by parents. Aspaen schools have an agreement with the Prelature of Opus Dei to guarantee Christian inspiration under the teachings of the Catholic Church, which underpins the institution; consequently, each Aspaen school has an Opus Dei priest as chaplain.
Aspaen Liceo Tacurí is a day school in Colombia offering a blended international curriculum that combines Cambridge CAIE and IB Diploma Programme. The school is certified as a Cambridge Associate School and participates in Cambridge-British Council alliance to internationalize learning, including second-language subjects taught with international methodologies in real-context learning. Education is personalized, with mixed delivery in preschool and differentiated instruction in later years to meet each student's development needs. NOVUS and NOVUS A+ enable interdisciplinary projects that extend learning beyond traditional subjects, with NOVUS A+ developed in partnership with Universidad de La Sabana to address affectivity, sexuality and health.
