Uniforms are required. For physical education, the primary level PE uniform is a white sports shirt (Klasse 1–6) and unisex sports shorts; older students (Klasse 7–12) have sports uniform options including a sports shirt.
Healthy cafeteria: Food is an essential part of our formation. In partnership with Mariatere SAS, a leader in school nutrition, students enjoy daily healthy, safe, and balanced menus. We offer snacks and balanced lunches prepared under international food-safety standards (BPM and HACCP); menus are nutritious and varied, including proteins, vegetables, fruits, cereals and dairy, with customized options for allergies or special needs and professional nutrition support. Families benefit from peace of mind about quality and nutrition, time savings, and flexible meal-pack pricing (monthly or per meal). Special snack packages are available for Kindergarten to Klasse 3, purchasable by payment to Bancolombia savings account 442-000082-86 in the name of Servicios de Alimentos Mariatere SAS – NIT 901008133; lunches can be ordered via Biofood with vegetarian and special options. Colegio Alemán de Barranquilla is a historic German international school in Colombia, founded in 1912 and located on the Via al Mar campus since 2002. The school offers a bilingual program in German, Spanish and English, with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for Bachillerato alongside a German curriculum. It is affiliated with the German government and forms part of the global network of Auslandsschulen supported by ZfA, providing recognized credentials and updated methodologies with cultural immersion opportunities.
