Uniform Requirement

In Anglo, uniforms are linked to the six-day cycle. For example, a Grade 2.A student who has Physical Education on days 4 and 6 will wear the PE uniform on those days, regardless of the day of the week.

Food Options

The Anglo cafeteria, Anglo's Kitchen, provides catering with state‑of‑the‑art facilities and equipment. The food and beverage team develops varied menus with vegetarian options and is overseen by a nutrition professional to ensure compliance with health guidelines. Pre‑School children receive two snacks (morning and afternoon) and a daily lunch; First graders receive a morning snack and lunch; the rest of the students receive a daily lunch.

House System

Anglo uses a British-style house system. The four houses are Beatty, Hood, Nelson and Rodney. The Year Cup is the top award, given to the house with the most points across competitions during the year.

Governance and Ownership

The Anglo is a private, non-denominational, co-educational institution. Governance is provided by a Board of Governors whose members are elected by parents and co-opted; the Board maintains the school's DNA and strategic plan. A Directive Council of the School Government, together with the Parents' Council, the Teachers' Council and the Academic Council, plus student government, participate in governance and approve changes to the Institutional Educational Project.

Colegio Anglo Colombiano is an IB World School in Colombia offering the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme for students aged 4 to 18. Founded in 1956, it is a private, coeducational, non-denominational institution and an early adopter of the IB curriculum in Colombia; it has held CIS accreditation since 1998. The campus provides spaces for sport, arts and culture, organized through a house system that encourages participation.
