Colombia's Colegio CIEDI is a co-educational International Baccalaureate World School serving students aged 3 to 18. Results of the IB Diploma May 2024: 45 students were candidates for the IB Diploma; 91.1% earned the Diploma in the bilingual category; the Diploma average was 29 points; 47.8% of the subjects offered ranked above the world average, and the school's Diploma attainment rate exceeded the world average by 11%.
Graduates attend universities such as Universidad de Los Andes, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad de La Sabana, and Universidad del Rosario, with a notable share pursuing studies abroad.

Wellbeing, Promotion and Human Development (BIPRODEHU) leads socio-emotional wellbeing across the school. The department is staffed by psychologists who promote the socio-emotional development of the learning community, including students, teachers, families, and staff. It implements programs and strategies to support general wellbeing and socio-emotional development. Initiatives are organized for students, teachers, and families, with dedicated staff supporting the work across the community. The school emphasizes a holistic balance between the body, mind, emotions and spirituality as part of wellbeing.

Team members include a Director of Convivencia y Bienestar, a Psychologist for Primary, a Psychologist for 8th–10th grades, and a Coordinator of BIPRODEHU who serves 6th, 7th and 11th grades. They support students' mental health and socio-emotional development across grades and lead wellbeing initiatives school-wide. The team provides counselling and coordinated programs in collaboration with families and teachers.
The data protection policy has been in effect since December 1, 2018. Personal data of students and families is collected for educational purposes, including health data necessary for first aid and therapeutic processes, and stored securely with access limited to authorized staff. The policy governs how information is used, stored, circulated and how data subjects may access or revoke their data. The school uses the PEI and the Manual de Convivencia to guide behavior and safety, and monitors operations and facilities to maintain safety in the school community.
Preschool Admissions Process:
1. Register for the Information Session to learn about our pedagogical proposal. The session introduces families to CIEDI's preschool program and what to expect in the early years. It explains how the school supports holistic development for young learners. The Information Session is the first step in the admissions process.
2. Pay the application form and complete it online. The form payment is required to proceed with the application. Ensure the form is fully completed before moving to the next step. Payment is part of the application workflow.
3. Schedule the student's immersion day and the parents' interview. The immersion day lets the student experience the classroom environment; the parents' interview provides an opportunity for the school to learn about the family context and child needs. Both steps are designed to help the school understand the applicant better.
4. Schedule the feedback on the admissions process. Feedback is scheduled after the immersion and interview to review observations and outline next steps. This feedback informs whether a seat is offered.
5. Reserve the seat. A seat is reserved for successful applicants.
Ages for entry:
The school starts students at age 3 or 4. This age must be reached no later than August of the starting school year. Three-year-olds enter Pre-Kindergarten and four-year-olds enter Kindergarten 4. No English proficiency level is required for these two initial levels. English language requirements may apply for older entrants.
Primary Admissions Process:
1. Register for the Information Session to learn about our pedagogical proposal. The session explains how the primary program supports student development and learning goals.
2. Pay the application form and complete it online. Payment is required to process the application and move to the evaluation stage.
3. Schedule the entrance tests (student) and the parents' interview. The entrance tests assess readiness for the grade level; the parents' interview provides context about the student and family.
4. Schedule the feedback on the admissions process. Feedback summarizes observations from assessments and interviews and outlines next steps.
5. Reserve the seat. A seat is reserved for admitted applicants.
Ages for entry:
Applicants to 1st grade or higher must have a high level of English in writing, reading, and listening comprehension, in line with the standards of the grade to be entered.
High School Admissions Process:
