Founded in Cali, Colombia, in the summer of 1956. The Colegio Colombo Británico is a non-profit educational corporation that is bilingual (Spanish-English) and multicultural, co-educational, for students from 18 months of age. It meets national educational standards and the international standards of the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). The school has built relationships with international organizations such as the Council of International Schools and the Andean Association of IB World Schools.
The educational community is comprised of students or learners, educators, parents or guardians of students, alumni, teachers, school administrators and CCB employees. They participate in the design, execution and evaluation of the Institutional Educational Project and in the proper running of the school, in accordance with the law and the school's regulations.
Colégio Colombo Británico Cali is an IB World School serving ages 1 to 18. It offers the full IB continuum—PYP, MYP and DP—alongside the Colombian Baccalaureate Diploma, with CIS accreditation ensuring international standards. The school is bilingual in Spanish and English and welcomes students from diverse nationalities, including a secondary cohort that is predominantly Colombian. Facilities include a performing theatre, an art studio, and three libraries, plus a roofed sports center with gym, pools, and outdoor fields to support arts, athletics and study spaces. The GoBeyond Round Square program enables international exchanges and experiential learning, including trips to the United Kingdom. A Diploma Programme College Placement Counsellor assists with higher education planning. The school partners with Make-A-Wish Colombia for community service and emphasizes multilingualism and global citizenship through Round Square activities and leadership opportunities.
