Language learning opportunities and multilingual education

Language Provision

The school teaches a second language as part of the Elementary program after solidifying the native language in Preschool. A second language is reinforced in Middle School with expatriate and Colombian teachers supporting bilingual development. The High School offers the AP curriculum to support advanced study and college preparation. The Native Speaker Teachers Program is listed as a language-support program.

Bilingual Teaching

Bilingualism is emphasized in Elementary after solidifying the native language in Preschool. A second language is acquired sequentially and used in different contexts with the support of expatriate and Colombian teachers. In Middle School, students strengthen their use of the second language, and in High School AP courses are offered to prepare for university and global engagement.

Immersion Programs

Summer Programs provide immersion in another language through experiences at colleges and universities around the world. These programs enable students to explore vocational interests, participate in leadership or service activities, and be immersed in another language. They support personal and academic growth and guide future professional decisions.
