Extra-Curricular Activities

Clubs, activities, and opportunities to explore interests and passions

Academic and Intellectual

Salidas Pedagógicas connects students with the social, cultural, economic, historical, and geographic realities of different regions in Colombia. These experiences promote leadership and strengthen critical and analytical thinking about national issues, while supporting the socio-emotional development and sense of identity within the class and school community. MUNCAS, the Model United Nations program, provides a simulation environment where students assume real-world roles, develop argumentation and oratory skills, and practice bilingual communication.

Arts and Creative

The Arts program comprises four disciplines—Dance, Music, Theater, and Visual Arts—and guides students from preschool through secondary levels. It offers opportunities to perform in school productions and Talent Show, displays in visual arts exhibitions, and exposure to a gallery of student work as part of a broad artistic formation. The program emphasizes expressive movement, performance, and artistic techniques across the four disciplines, supported by a team of teachers and performances throughout the year.

Cultural and Language

French is offered as part of the free-time activities, alongside immersion-friendly International Programs such as the IB Diploma and Cambridge assessments, with ongoing immersion opportunities and a pathway to Canada through dual-degree programs. The school supports varied language and cultural experiences through its international education offerings and immersion programs.

Social and Hobbies

Proyecto de Tiempo Libre offers a broad range of after-school activities including Taekwondo, soccer, dance, orchestra, gymnastics, robotics, volleyball, basketball, and dance-related arts like pre-ballet; it also includes instrumental and language options such as violin and French, among others. Additional activities span a variety of sports and performing arts, providing students with opportunities to develop talents and social engagement after school.

Community and Service

Eco School PRAE (Environmental School Project) aims to develop an environmental and citizenship culture, advancing conservation, biodiversity, climate action, waste reduction, and global citizenship; in 2024 the program earned the Green Flag from the Foundation for Environmental Education and joined Eco-Schools. The Proyecto de Acción Social (PAS) integrates students with vulnerable populations to foster social commitment, empathy, and the ability to act as agents of change.

Leadership and Professional

Gobierno Escolar (Student Government) aims to form transformative leaders through democratic participation and student representation. MUNCAS provides a formal academic context for leadership, argumentation, and bilingualism, reinforcing leadership capacity through debate and international-style diplomacy. The Orientation Professional Program supports students in career planning and higher-education decisions, helping connect interests and strengths with future opportunities.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Bienestar y Apoyo offers services such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychopedagogy, and Psychology to support learning and student well-being. It also includes programs like Apoyo al Aprendizaje, Estimulación, Proyecto de Vida, Orientación Profesional, and Mitigación Escolar, which promote healthy social-emotional development, study habits, and readiness for academic challenges. These supports are designed to create a supportive context grounded in values such as respect and care for others.
