School day runs 7:20 a.m. to 2:50 p.m., Monday through Friday, across 38–40 weeks with about 180 school days. Bible, PE, and electives meet 2–4 times a week; most core subjects meet five times per week; students typically take 8 classes daily (9th–12th grade can have around 10 per semester).
Transportation is provided with routes and monthly rates: Normal Route 515,600 COP per month per student; Route between Portal Norte and ECA 365,200 COP; Sabana Norte Route 552,000 COP.

El Camino bills an annual enrollment fee plus tuition paid in ten monthly installments. Families are classified into three categories for tuition calculations: Employer-funded (Category A), Business (Category B with income subbands B1–B4), and Ministry (Category C with income subbands C1–C4). Billing schedule and payment terms
- Enrollment fee: charged annually at enrollment; it covers the use of textbooks provided by the school.
- Tuition billing: tuition is billed in ten monthly installments (ten payments per school year).
- Early‑payment discount: a 10% discount on the monthly tuition amount is applied to families who pay within the first 10 days of each month.
- Supplies and uniforms: supplies and uniforms are purchased separately from the enrollment fee.

- Boarding is not applicable. El Camino operates as a day school with a standard daily schedule (school day and calendar operate as a day program).

Fee payment options and instructions
- Accepted payment channels for admissions and school payments include: cash, debit card, or credit card in person at the school cashier (American Express is not accepted).
- Bank deposit or electronic transfer to the school's Bancolombia account is accepted for admissions and school payments; parents are requested to e‑mail proof of deposit/transfer to the cashier and/or admissions office where indicated.
- The school provides an online payments option and specific banking details for electronic payments; proof of payment should be sent to the school cashier or admissions e‑mail addresses when required.
Notes on classification and discounts
- Family classification (Employer‑funded / Business / Ministry) and income band determine the applicable tuition category and amounts; the enrollment fee and monthly tuition levels above reflect those categories and bands. A 10% monthly tuition discount applies for payments made within the first 10 days of each month.
Nationalities represented include Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Guatemala, Mexico, New Zealand, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United States, and Venezuela. About 96% of students are Colombian; the remainder are from foreign missionary and diplomatic families.
El Camino Academy is an interdenominational Christian school in Bogotá offering an American-style Pre-K through 12 curriculum with AP options. The program uses a U.S.-based framework through high school, with an option to meet Colombian diploma requirements. Bible, physical education, and fine arts are integrated for all students. AP preparation is available based on student interest and staffing. Secondary class periods are 45 minutes; most core subjects meet five times weekly, while Bible, PE, and electives meet two to four times weekly. All graduates receive both American and a Colombian high school diploma. Founded in 1980 by North American missionaries, ECA has held ACSI accreditation since 1999. The 1.15-acre campus on Bogotá's northern edge houses a library with over 20,000 volumes (90% in English), a science lab, and dedicated art and music spaces. Extracurriculars include a broad sports program and En Sus Manos Music Academy, and a revived ECA Band.
