Music is offered through En Sus Manos (Music Academy). On Mondays, students may choose between Guitar, Drums, Vocal Technique, or Piano for 60 minutes per session (12 hours per semester). On Wednesdays, options include Guitar, Drums, Vocal Technique, Piano, Stomp, and ECA Band for 1 hour 45 minutes per class (12 classes per semester). There is a combined option on Mondays & Wednesdays: 12 weeks per semester, totaling 2 hours 45 minutes per week. The ECA Band is a project to revive the school band, requiring enrollment, prior instrument experience, consistent rehearsals, and commitment to basic spiritual practices. The costs for music are 60-minute sessions at 500,000 COP, 1 hour 45 minute sessions at 620,000 COP, and the combined option at 1,020,000 COP for 12 weeks/semester.
Sports are offered under School Fit (Sports Academy), including Soccer (All ages); Volleyball & Basketball (5th-12th Grade); BMX junior (PK and K; 1st-4th bring your own bike); Taekwondo (PK-8th); Gymnastics (PK-8th); Skating (PK-8th); Swimming (at CAFAM on Wednesdays) (PK-12th); and Tennis (at CAFAM on Wednesdays) (PK-12th). Comfortable clothing is recommended for all sports, and skating requires protective gear. Costs vary by schedule: Mondays 242,000 COP; Wednesdays 444,000 COP; Mon & Wed 650,000 COP (per semester). El Camino Academy is an interdenominational Christian school in Bogotá offering an American-style Pre-K through 12 curriculum with AP options. The program uses a U.S.-based framework through high school, with an option to meet Colombian diploma requirements. Bible, physical education, and fine arts are integrated for all students. AP preparation is available based on student interest and staffing. Secondary class periods are 45 minutes; most core subjects meet five times weekly, while Bible, PE, and electives meet two to four times weekly. All graduates receive both American and a Colombian high school diploma. Founded in 1980 by North American missionaries, ECA has held ACSI accreditation since 1999. The 1.15-acre campus on Bogotá's northern edge houses a library with over 20,000 volumes (90% in English), a science lab, and dedicated art and music spaces. Extracurriculars include a broad sports program and En Sus Manos Music Academy, and a revived ECA Band.
