Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school emphasizes social and emotional development through five pillars: Leadership, Best Effort, Integrity, Kindness, and Citizenship. Leadership teaches students to take control of their lives, build confidence, and collaborate to solve problems. Best Effort encourages students to give their best, seek the best solutions, and maintain a growth‑oriented mindset. Integrity means doing the right thing in all contexts, even when no one is watching. Kindness and Citizenship foster care for others and responsible participation in the community and digital spaces.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school operates a bilingual program in English and Spanish, strengthening proficiency in both languages. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for US universities. The school is accredited by Cognia and by the Ministry of Education of Colombia.

Fundación Liceo Inglés is a private, bilingual school in Pereira, Colombia that follows the American Curriculum on a calendar B schedule. The campus serves Preschool through High School, including a WeeCare program for the youngest Kinder students, with small class groups and two teachers per room in the early years. The Primary and Secondary divisions share the same site, supported by a central library and extensive English- and Spanish-language resources.
