Knightsbridge Schools International Bogotá is part of Knightsbridge Schools International, established in 2008 by the founders of Knightsbridge School in London to develop a network of international schools. In 1966 Elvira Arbelaez de Pardo founded La Candelaria, a bilingual private school in Bogotá; in September 2012 Colegio La Candelaria joined KSI and became a co-educational international, non-confessional private school. The KSI Bogotá history includes the opening of KSIB in 2012, the Anastasia Goulandris media centre built in 2013/2014, and the first International Baccalaureate certifications (PYP and DP) in 2014/2015. Milestones include a KSI Kids campus in Guaymaral in 2018, a 10-year anniversary in 2022, and GPTS certifications in 2019/2020 and 2021/2022.

Knightsbridge Schools International Bogotá is an IB World School serving ages 4 to 18. The campus offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), with the Middle Years framework blending the Colombian curriculum and IB philosophy. The school provides a fully bilingual English–Spanish program; preschoolers aged 4–7 enjoy full English immersion, and all subjects are taught in English with Spanish and Physical Education integrated. The Diploma Programme prepares students for university study, supported by MAP assessments. The school year runs Calendar B (August/September to June). KSIB Bogotá is part of the Knightsbridge Schools International network; milestones include a dedicated media centre and a renovated library. Facilities include classrooms, Visual Art Studios, Science Labs, a music room, a sports field, Multipurpose Courts, a nursing station and conference spaces.
