Billing schedule and payment terms
- The academic year is billed as ten (10) monthly tuition payments (pensiones) payable from September through June. Each month begun is considered due in full for invoicing purposes. Advance payment of the full year is permitted.
- The enrollment fee (matrícula) is a single annual charge due at registration; late payment of matrícula incurs a 7% late surcharge.
- Monthly payments (pensiones) do not include cafeteria, transport or other periodic or occasional charges; those are billed separately. Monthly invoices remain due even if the student is absent, on vacation, or otherwise not in class.
- The school may pursue debt‑collection measures for unpaid accounts and may withhold re‑enrollment for students not “a paz y salvo” (not current on payments).
Discounts and special payment terms
- Family discounts: 2nd child = 5% on monthly tuition; 3rd child = 20%; 4th child and subsequent = 25% (applies to monthly tuition only; not to matrícula). Discounts are not cumulative and are not applicable where an employer pays the fees.
- Early (full‑year) payment discount: a 5% discount applies to the total of the ten monthly payments when the responsible payer elects and completes prepayment for the full year by the stated deadline (payment must be made using authorized payment methods and before 30 September). The school notes an exception: full‑year prepayment is not possible with Davivienda credit card due to bank policy.
Boarding / residence
- The Lycée Français Louis‑Pasteur is a day school; no boarding or residential tuition category or boarding fees are listed.
Other costs and fees (charged in addition to matrícula and monthly tuition)
- Periodic charges: school cafeteria and school transport are billed separately as periodic charges. Other charges billed separately include socio‑educational activities, extracurricular activities, school trips, language exam fees, photocopies and printing, certifications and additional academic bulletins.
- Textbooks are provided on loan at the start of the year and must be returned at year end; loss or damage triggers a replacement charge.
- Calculators for Seconde / Première / Terminale may be offered for bulk purchase and are optional; if purchased through the school these are charged to the family.
- Pre‑registration form fee and the cost of the application form(s) are non‑refundable.
Refunds and withdrawals
- Enrollment fee (matrícula): non‑refundable under any circumstances. Monthly paid amounts: if billing is monthly, there is no refund for a month once it has started. For families who prepaid the year and later withdraw, refund is possible only for complete months of service not yet provided; withdrawals occurring in April–June do not give rise to a refund. All refunds are subject to a 5% administrative deduction. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and include identification and bank certification.
Fee payment options and practical payment rules
- Accepted modalities include: a dedicated Diners credit card issued by Banco Davivienda under the school's convened program (the school facilitates inclusion in the Davivienda convention for families who choose this option); payments by a sponsoring company via bank transfer (company payments must be made by bank transfer and proof emailed to cartera@lfbogota.com); and transfers in Euros under specified conditions for payers meeting certain criteria. Payment receipts for bank transfers must be sent to cartera@lfbogota.com. Full‑year prepayment has specific rules and bank exceptions (e.g., Davivienda card cannot be used for full‑year prepayment).
Administrative and enforcement points (payment compliance)
- The family financial guardian signs and accepts the Financial Regulations and the educational contract; signing implies acceptance of billing schedules and payment modalities. Failure to keep accounts current may block re‑enrollment or access to services. Interest for late payment and collection costs may be applied as set out in the Financial Regulations.

Lycée Français Louis-Pasteur is a French international day school in Colombia, serving ages 3 to 18. It is affiliated with the French national education system and works with AEFE exchanges. The school offers the French national curriculum for collège (6e–3e) and lycée (Seconde–Terminale), including a Baccalauréat Français International – Anglophone section and a bespoke pathway that incorporates Colombian requirements (Social Sciences in Spanish and Spanish) and the Saber 11 exam. A placement test in Seconde and tailored options in Première and Terminale lead to the Baccalauréat Général or the International French Baccalaureate. The campus supports reading and research through Marmothèque (kindergarten), BCD (elementary), and CCC (6e–Terminale), with extensive print, media, and digital resources, plus E-Sidoc and librarian-led information-literacy sessions.
