AISZ is an independent, coeducational, non-profit day school in Zagreb serving ages 3–18. The PK-12 program blends an American-influenced international framework with the IB Diploma Program and AISZ diplomas, all built on inquiry and interdisciplinary learning. English is the language of instruction; world languages include French and German, while the IB offers Language A options in English, Croatian, French, German, and Chinese, and Language B options in English, French, and German (with ab initio). The school offers three high school diplomas: the IB Diploma, the AISZ High School Diploma, and the AISZ Honors Diploma (which includes a senior project). The Bridges Program supports inclusive learning, and English as an Additional Language is provided when needed. The Bundek campus is an A+ energy-rated building with zero CO2 emissions and power generation to the Zagreb grid, and houses two well-resourced libraries, three science laboratories, a fully flexible black box theater, dance and music spaces, art rooms, and extensive athletic facilities. AISZ emphasizes arts, athletics, and service through clubs and CEESA activities.
