American International School in Cyprus is a private, coeducational college-preparatory school in central Nicosia serving students aged 3 to 18. The school follows an American curriculum aligned to CCSS and NGSS in elementary years, AERO social studies standards, and Virginia SOL standards, with the final two high school years offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The campus covers 10,000 square meters and houses a library with 14,000 volumes, a computer lab, and a Lego/Computing Robotics classroom, plus a theatre/assembly hall, art studios, two music rooms, and a 125-seat cafeteria. Outdoor facilities include a netted futsal pitch, tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts, a swimming pool, and a covered physical education area. AISC is accredited by MSA, the IB, the Council of International Schools, and the Cyprus Ministry of Education. Programs include Innovator student newspaper, a school counselor for university applications, Greek language programming, and arts, language and service clubs for students.

The Learning Support Centre provides services for mild-learning difficulties, mild ADD/ADHD, and additional support. Services include separate classroom support (Resource), in-class support (Inclusion), learning strategies, modification of the curriculum for K-8, and accommodations for K-12 with documented diagnoses. AISC cannot support students with moderate learning difficulties.

Classes begin at 8:00 am and dismiss at 3:05 pm; on Wednesdays classes end at 2:10 pm.
AISC provides a morning and afternoon bus service within various regions of Nicosia; two afternoon schedules are 3:15 pm and 4:15 pm. Bus services can be arranged through the AISC Business Office.

The school serves approximately 400 registered students representing over 40 nationalities. For over 35 years, AISC has supported international and local families relocating to Cyprus and transferring to a new school.
