Foley's School is private, independent, multinational and co-educational, licensed by the Ministry of Education. English is the language of instruction. The school broadly follows the UK National Curriculum, adapted for international pupils, with external examinations including IGCSEs and A levels (London Edexcel and Cambridge). The school offers an Apolytirion approved by the Ministry of Education. Foley's is located at 2 Nikis Avenue, Limassol, and today has over 1,300 pupils aged 3–18 on a single campus with state-of-the-art facilities. The Primary section moved to brand new premises on Nikis Avenue in 2016, with the Secondary School building and top-class sports facilities developed on the site.
Multipurpose Pitch: top-of-the-range astroturf pitch used for football, tag rugby, softball, field hockey and cricket, with Foley's regularly competing locally, nationally and internationally. Athletic Track: a 300m all-weather tartan running track and surrounding facilities for a wide range of events. Sports Hall: large, sprung wooden floor for basketball, unihockey, futsal, volleyball, netball, table tennis, handball and fitness activities, with tennis also accommodated. Indoor Gym: sprung wooden floor, suitable for Gymnastics and dance, with an elite Girls' Gymnastic Team. Swimming Pool: a 25m pool meeting international short course specifications, used for teaching, training, galas and water polo fixtures.
ICT: There are two ICT suites, one for Primary and one for Secondary, both with networked computers so each pupil has an individual workstation and an interactive teaching panel; Coding is part of ICT taught at all levels. Science: The Primary School uses a well-resourced laboratory-style classroom, while the Secondary School has five fully equipped laboratories and a large preparation room; Biology, Chemistry and Physics are taught separately at IGCSE and A Level. Primary classrooms are bright and well-resourced, with the latest interactive flatscreen panels; Early Years classrooms include carpeted areas and book corners, and there are varied, well-equipped playgrounds. The school emphasises practical and investigative work in science across both sections, with Primary achieving European CLEAPPS Science Awards.
The school offers a wide variety of Extracurricular Activities, with clubs spanning Drama, Music and Sport, and pupils engage in activities most afternoons. Extracurricular Clubs Offered include Primary options such as Arts and Crafts, Robotics, Chess, Drama, Greek and Spanish, and Secondary options across Athletics, Debating, Robotics, Choir, Football, Gymnastics, Table Tennis, and more. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is available to pupils over 14 (with supervised hiking and camping for younger pupils) and includes Expedition elements; it provides international recognition of achievements outside the classroom. The clubs also emphasize Performing Arts and Music ensembles (Choir, Guitar Orchestra, Keyboard, Music Composition, Ukulele, World Percussion) as part of the student experience.
