Application and registration fees

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Academic year for tuition: 1 September – 31 August.
- Standard payment plan (three instalments):
- 1st instalment (40% of the annual tuition) due by 31 August (pre-term).
- 2nd instalment (40% of the annual tuition) due by 1 December.
- 3rd instalment (20% of the annual tuition) due by 31 January (next calendar year; re-registration deadline).
- Advance payment discount: 5% discount on tuition fees if full year's tuition is paid in advance by 31 May for the academic year (advance-payment period and conditions specified for the year).
- Students withdrawing during the academic year remain liable for the entire year's fees.
- Fees may increase (policy allows increases up to the stated annual cap).
- Late payments: a surcharge at prevailing interest rates may be charged on outstanding amounts. The school holds both parents responsible for fee payment unless written alternative arrangements are provided.

Other compulsory and recurring charges

- Composite fee (annual, payable in advance; covers library, art materials, laboratories, accident insurance, IT):
- Primary School: €250.00 per year.
- Secondary School: €375.00 per year.
- Books and learning materials:
- Primary School books: €340.00 (payable in advance; loan/purchase arrangements described).
- Secondary School books and materials: purchased separately (parents pay cost as advised).
- Standard assessment and diagnostic tests (sample charges where applicable):
- CAT4 (Years 3, 6, 9): €30.00 each.
- NGRT (Years 2, 6): €15.00 each.
- PASS (all years): €8.00 each.
- External examination fees (e.g., IGCSE, A Level, ECDL) are charged in addition to tuition and vary by exam.
- Certain optional or additional items are charged extra (examples include after-school enhancement classes such as ESL/remedial/homework clubs, school trips and special projects, Enhancement Department programmes, and charges for loss/damage to school property). School uniform is available from the school shop (uniform costs are additional).

Boarding

- Boarding is not applicable; the school operates as a day school.

Refunds and deposits

- In general, fees and charges paid are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
- Reservation deposit (€1,000) is non-refundable but is credited against the student's tuition for the academic year.
- Kindergarten registration deposit (equal to one monthly fee) is allocated to the June tuition payment if a child leaves at the end of the academic year and written notice of withdrawal is received by the stated deadline; if notice is not received by that deadline, the child will be automatically re-enrolled and the deposit is not refundable if parents later decline the place.
- The composite fee and book deposit/charges are non-refundable even if a student does not complete the academic year.

Fee payment options

- Accepted payment methods include: cash (note legal cash-payment limit of €10,000 per family per academic year), standing order, credit card, the JCC Smart portal, and direct bank transfer to the school's bank accounts (Bank of Cyprus and Eurobank).
- Bank payment details and account identifiers are provided for bank transfers.

Discounts

- Sibling discounts (applied to tuition only for the academic year specified):
- Primary/Secondary policy example: 10% for the second child, 20% for the third child and 25% for the fourth child (applies to the stated academic year).
- Kindergarten siblings: 10% for a second child and 15% for a third child (applies when attending the entire year; deduction method described in kindergarten terms).
- Advance-payment discount (5% on tuition only) applies when the full year's tuition is paid within the advance-payment deadline for the year.

Located in Anavargos on a purpose-built campus on the outskirts of Paphos, The International School of Paphos is a co-educational boarding school serving students aged 2 to 18. It follows the English National Curriculum, delivering Cambridge IGCSEs and Cambridge International AS/A Levels, alongside Pearson Edexcel IGCSE. The school provides English-medium instruction with Greek taught to Cypriot and Greek-native students from Reception to Year 9, reflecting its multilingual community. The campus features four science laboratories, four computer labs, a library, a Performing Centre, a Music Studio, Drama Studio, and an Art Gallery, plus sports facilities including an indoor pool, an Astroturf pitch, a 250m track and multiple courts.
