History

Founded in 1987, The International School of Paphos is a private, co-educational boarding school. It serves more than 1,000 students from age 2½ (Kindergarten) to 18 (A Levels / Apolytirion) and follows the English National Curriculum. The school is located in Anavargos, Paphos, Cyprus. The campus is purpose-built to support student well-being and comfort.

Community

The school has a multicultural environment with students from over 40 nationalities. Teachers are dedicated, caring, experienced, and multilingual, promoting a well-rounded education in partnership with families and the wider community. ISOP is recognized nationally and internationally, and students frequently win prestigious awards or scholarships. A wide range of field studies and out-of-school visits, as well as opportunities to participate in European and International educational programmes, community service and volunteerism, are encouraged.

Parent-Teacher Association

The PTA is a group of parents supporting school life. They organise large events such as the International Winter Fair, the Easter Fair, and the Halloween event (Trunk-or-Treat). They also participate in the Paphos Carnival Parade and organise the Teachers and Staff Appreciation Week. The PTA supports the school's events, including theatre performances and first aid trainings. PTA members volunteer in school events such as excursions and swimming galas and participate in History Week competitions.

Located in Anavargos on a purpose-built campus on the outskirts of Paphos, The International School of Paphos is a co-educational boarding school serving students aged 2 to 18. It follows the English National Curriculum, delivering Cambridge IGCSEs and Cambridge International AS/A Levels, alongside Pearson Edexcel IGCSE. The school provides English-medium instruction with Greek taught to Cypriot and Greek-native students from Reception to Year 9, reflecting its multilingual community. The campus features four science laboratories, four computer labs, a library, a Performing Centre, a Music Studio, Drama Studio, and an Art Gallery, plus sports facilities including an indoor pool, an Astroturf pitch, a 250m track and multiple courts. Extracurriculars include Model United Nations, Duke of Edinburgh's Award, European Youth Parliament, Eco Schools, and Junior Achievement Cyprus, plus a Philanthropy Club and Drama Club. The Enhanced Centre supports academic development, and the Apolytirion is recognized by the Cyprus Ministry for overseas study.
