Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. The academic year runs from September to June. Prospective students can apply now for all programmes. Admission depends on the student's overall test and interview results as well as space availability in the chosen programme and grade. Children must be at least 3 years old by 1 September. 2. Use the Grade & Programme Calculator to determine the class your child may enter based on date of birth, and to see which programmes are available for their age. The form does not guarantee the availability of places in the selected programme. 3. Choose a programme. The Island Private School offers International Baccalaureate (IB) from ages 3 to 19, Waldorf from Kindergarten to Grade 8, and Montessori from Pre-Primary to Grade 4. 4. Admission Process: Submit an Application via Open Apply and complete the application form, then pay the non-refundable admission fee of 100 EUR. Complete the Learning Support Form on OpenApply to share any educational needs. The school will contact you by email to confirm space and provide instructions for paying the admission fee. 5. Documentation and steps: Prepare documents such as the child's birth certificate, passport or ID, parents' passports or IDs, last school report, Health Certificate (Greek or English), proof of residence, and vaccination certificate. 6. Pass the examinations: Depending on the grade, students complete CAT4 (Aptitude Test) and an English Test (Grades 3–12), followed by interviews with the Academic Team. Final admission is based on exam results and space availability. 7. Contract, enrolment and trial: Upon a successful outcome, a place is offered. Parents sign the Enrolment Form and pay tuition and any required deposits. A 5-day Trial Week is held to assess adaptation; if the child withdraws, tuition is refunded in full except for the non-refundable admission fee. 8. First day and onboarding: The academic team welcomes the child on the first day, and onboarding emails provide essential information about operations and start.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

TLF – Technology Leaders of the Future is a fully funded boarding scholarship programme at The Island Private School. The programme offers 70 full scholarships for students aged 14–16 who excel in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, and who demonstrate entrepreneurial motivation and a strong portfolio. It provides a 2-, 3-, or 4-year Advanced IB programme, well-being mentors, houseparents, and comprehensive health insurance, with dormitory accommodation at the Boarding Campus in Limassol. Applications are submitted online for initial screening, followed by a math test and further assessments for shortlisted candidates, an interview with Programme Leaders, and final selection by the admissions committee. Successful scholars receive tuition, boarding, learning materials, and weekend activities, with university placement support depending on performance. Key dates include the second wave application deadline (March 22, 2026) with online tests, written exams, and scheduled oral exams, and onboarding after acceptance. Some top scholars may receive additional university scholarship support based on performance. The programme also supports university preparation, including guidance, counselling, and exam preparation. Medical coverage is provided for the duration of studies, and partial coverage or instalment plans are not offered for TLF. Some top scholars may access extra TLF funding for future university costs.
