Founded in 2015 as a parent and teacher-led Waldorf educational initiative in Cyprus. Recognised in 2023 with the Future Shapes Award at the TechIsland Awards for innovation and commitment. By 2025, The Island Private School of Limassol had grown into a progressive international school educating 850+ students from over 35 countries. It is a progressive, full-day international institution that uniquely integrates three globally renowned educational frameworks—IB, Waldorf, and Montessori—into a single community and is the only IB Continuum School in Cyprus.
The Island Open Day takes place on 29 March 2026. The school offers more than 100 extracurricular activity groups on campus. The Island runs Summer Programmes for children aged 4–18, including a 2025 calendar of camps. Flagship programmes include Entrepreneurship & Technology and a scholarship programme called TLF.

The Palodia main campus serves Pre-Primary through Secondary, while Waldorf Kindergarten operates in Parekklisia and Sunset Gardens in Limassol houses the Boarding School for Grades 7–12. The school teaches in English and offers ESL support; admissions include native-language consideration for pre-primary. It educates 850+ students from more than 35 countries and is the only Cypriot school offering a complete IB Continuum (PYP, MYP, DP, CP) alongside Montessori and Waldorf. On graduation, students receive the Apolytirion Cyprus High School Diploma and may earn the IB Diploma if they pass IB exams.
